I cannot recommend this place enough! The customer service is absolutely incredible. They will go above and beyond to help you find what you are looking for and make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. I felt she was on the verge of kicking us out until my boyfriend asked if they deliver to his neighborhood: Uptown. Oh service took a 180 degree turn after that. I can't understand why we were treated that way either. He had just come from work and was wearing business casual. I had flip flops on (its august) but i had a long and not revealing dress on. We're not overly young, he's clearly in his thirties and im older than him. I supose we just didn't look like we are from the neighborhood, and we are not. Anyway its just disgusting and no matter how nice or accommodating she was after the mention of uptown, i don't know how she expects us to forget how she acted upon our arrival. We had literally just walked in and were at the front door when we were met with the invasive unwelcoming attitude.
Weir's at Lakeside is always great. There is a reason the store is always super busy. I have worked with Bob Milner on several items and have always had a wonderful experience. Bob is friendly and very helpful. They carry most well known brands and will special order for you if you want a brand or style you don't see on their sales floor. Their delivery staff is also very professional. I recently purchased something from the Weir's in Southlake and Ron was equally good. Their country store is always a nice stop with plenty of candies, popcorn and inspirational gifts. I would highly recommend Weir's & they stand behind their products.
