We went for state inspection. It was very quick maybe took 10 mins. They did make a mistake with the car details in the results paper due to which they had to redo the test all over again. But the person was very prompt and apologized for the delay. I would go here for oil change as well for their quick service. Plus they didn't try anything to extract more business from the inspections which I heard lot of other places do.
So far I've contacted several "highly rated" auto repair places in Plano for information (Maso's being one of them), and so far I haven't gotten one response from any of them. I don't know how they get any business, unless it's all just people passing by and seeing the place.
And I especially don't see how these places can get such high ratings when they can't even be bothered to respond to potential customers' information requests.
I guess I will have to go to Richardson, Allen, or McKinney since apparently all of these places are just SO busy, they can't even be bothered to respond to information requests.
In my experience these guys are reliable, friendly and responsive. Even if you don't do service with them and if you ask question they are answer your questions politely. So far i called them 4 times. All the time same kind of response. I did oil change, state inspection and few other services at this place.
I had major wobbling and few other issues in my car. I know that if i go to other places just giving some explanations and others would charge me $300 to $500(based on my previous experiences). Maso's owner fixed it soon and he asked me to drive car for a day and pay next day. He charged very less amount with some discount too..I would say this owner and all guys here are kind and doing their service very well.
A great neighborhood car repair shop! This place is my go-to for car problems and inspections. One time I took my car in with an electrical problem. They were upfront that electrical issues are difficult, but I insisted and they researched for two days; told me that they thought they knew the problem but recommended going to the dealership - honesty at a car repair, and they didn't even charge me for their time!
