Do not use this company. Problem after problem after problem. Michelle and Kristen were knowledgeable and knew how to do their job, luckily helping us to finally close our loan. I wish I could have worked with them from day one. Our original loan officer dropped the ball and let our loan sit suspended for 8 days without notifying us causing the lock to expire on top of many other delays and excuses. Today he contacts us asking for more signatures...two weeks after we already closed!!! Signatures in which we have already provided. Also, two weeks after close not all of our loans have been paid off. Save your time and sanity. Use another company.
Update 8/16'- GW apologized and refunded the appraisal. Though I am still not thrilled with the outcome, they made attempt to resolve the issue.
checked rates on lending tree and they pulled a hard credit check on me without my consent. I never even spoke with them. They are the only company that did this.
I came into the world of real estate blind and new. Ryan and his team helped guide me through the long and sometimes arduous process. I was able to call, text, and email him at ANY TIME, even when he was enjoying his time off (sorry Ryan!). Needless to say he was able to tackle even the most difficult problems and get us into our home. If I had to make a recommendation it would be Ryan and the rest of the Great Western team. Beware! Unethical behavior at best, possibly illegal. This business decided that they could not process my loan on the day of closing because it would not be profitable enough for them. This is after I went through the entire process and paid for an appraisal $575 appraisal fee. Now the rates have climbed so I am stuck. They will not return emails or phone calls... Again - stay away!!!!
Eric Peterson is a liar and he will lie to get you to get a loan with great western . DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!! He is a street hustler and he proved that to me . Stay far away from GREAT WESTERN HOME LOANS!!!
