The clerk in the bike area was very helpful. He installed a new tube on my bicycle and it was running like new right away. The process didn't take more than 10 minutes.
All of the store associates were friendly and helpful no matter which department I was shopping.
I love REI, always have. Today I broke down and bought my first pair of Hoka One One Speedgoat trail sneakers and I couldn't be happier. They have great arch support and they are like stepping on really thick pillows. Love, love, love em!!! The sales associate in the shoe department was knowledgeable about the products and he wasn't a pushy sales person. He was also really patient and went to the back stockroom to grab different shoes for me to try. I still may go back in a couple days and buy another pair I liked.

Best location for outdoor equipment and supplies with the best class of service. Always available to help. Love that I can return unwanted purchases with ease. Other retailers should be as good.
We went on garage sale day. It was busy! But we got a lot of great stuff and the workers were very nice despite 500 people being in there. Luckily they only have 4 or 5 garage sale days a year.
