It is. Small farm. For what it was, it was interesting to see. Make sure you go near the tour times. You will be done walking around within 20 minutes and will have to come back for the tour. Plan accordingly.
I went here for a friends wedding. I was rather surprised at how this farm seemed to be neatly tucked into the town. Because of the difference in how this place looked compared to the surroundings it's easy to know when you've arrived! There isn't much parking so you might have to park elsewhere and walk. But, it'll be well worth it! There's lots of interesting things to see and the entire place is just lovely!
You might never guess that this little farm is tucked away in the area in which you'll find it but when you visit you'll definitely have good time. This little farm has a piece of almost everything from the time in which it is trying to "portray". The main house is gorgeous, a small school house out back, a barn, animals of usual farm variety, tractor equipment and old cars/trucks and even a little blacksmith shop. I brought my daughter here and she loved it. If your kids are the usual "phone loving tech-tikes", this place may be hard to grab their attention. Otherwise there's plenty to see and do. (We "self-toured" ourselves around and spent close to 2+ hours there.)
Great place to look back at Plano's history.
Such a hidden gem! My kids and I loved it.
