I have been waiting for two hours and the receptionist has been very rude. If your child needs immediate help, this is not the right place. They have two people doing assessments and are short with you when you ask any questions.

I can testify that the inpatient program is one of the best! They helped my teen get through a very tough time. She had a skilled therapist that truly cared about her AND our family. They are busy, but kept me in the loop with progress updates. She learned skills to keep her safe! Thank you Seay!

Do not send your adolescent child here!!! I wish I had found the previous reviews before I admitted my child here. This place is simply a holding cell where they heavily sedate the patients, while they max out your insurance benefits. My child was here for 2 weeks and I only received one phone call from Dr Rekah Pole regarding an update/diagnosis. I had to call her several times to even get that one phone call! I had to call the nurse line for any other updates. I admit the nurses and techs are great but this place is horrible. There is no true focus on treating the patients. They also won't provide a copy of my child's patient records to his current psychiatrist even though I signed a consent form. No longer their patient so they don't care! Worst mistake ever walking into the doors of the Seay Center....

Ok but really. Everyone is going to leave bad reviews because nobody wants to be inpatient, so here's one that will actually be helpful. I got admitted this past Thursday the 19th, very early in the morning. The staff went as far as getting me food even, and getting me medicine to help me sleep within the hour. I was with the adults as I'm 22, and it was a wonderful experience. It made me realize alot about myself, and I made alot of friends that I will not forget. They finally found the medicine that works for me, even set me up with an outpatient program near my house that I'll be starting tomorrow. The food is average, it fills you up and isn't garbage like others are claiming. They kept the fridge stocked as best as they could as well, even though I ended up drinking them out of milk (I really love milk). But seriously, this place is amazing. they helped me stop the spiral my life was heading down, now there's nowhere to go but up.

Oh, and I don't have health insurance. They helped me anyway, and helped me find a low cost/free program that will even help me get low cost and free therapist/psychiatrist visits. This is a good place, people.

The ONLY reason they get one star is because I have to. They caused me to lose 3 days worth of pay due to pure NEGLECT. They faxed paper work over to my job with a sticky note over the signature space. They then faxed it again with no signature at all. Just to discharge me the following day after trying to push and force impatient treatment on me. They need money. I felt safe to go home and I was in no way suicidal. $$$$$$$$ people. They act like in patient services are free and there is nothing wrong with it if you truly need it....but if you don't then why press it? They will stop at nothing to get it. They're horrible. One of the front desk ladies is rude...easily confused, and snappy. She's the only one like that so when you see her...trust me you'll know. I would name names but i am not petty. Trust me. Go to Carrollton Springs. They have hundreds of reviewes...and they're 4 out of 5 stars. The staff is nicer. They listen. They don't offend. They don't walk around the office like it's a freaking fashion show like in the Seay center. Just watch them. I'm telling you. Seay center is a joke. Stay away from there. The out patient program is useless and dumb and you get nothing from it. They switch the therapists around like clockwork. It's crazy. Unorganized and they don't even answer their phones half the time. And when they do...they have no idea what's going on. Stay away. Don't stress. Carrollton Springs is on Parker road and it's only 4 miles away from Seay. I really hope this helps someone.
