One more bad call with them, they over charge between insurance vs their allowed amount. Today I had very long call discussion with them and my insurance people about a past payment(After FSA notice to submit EOB for payment) which I paid vs my insurance allowed. After spending much time with Insurance people and Plano Modern Dentistry staff, now they are saying they are not submitted the proper Clime to Insurance and they sent me a bill to submit to FSA. I was not happy with the bill, As of my knowledge normally Insurance people will negotiate and they will show the charges in EOD how much we are responsible. Now they are manually sending Clime to Insurance to cover their mistake. If any business people they will keep customer Happy, they don't care about customer and they want to happy with charges.

This is the worst dental. I normally don't like to write reviews, but have to due to the worst dental experience. First, they call me on the day of my appointment to move the appointment time to an earlier time. Second, after poking my gums the doctor told me I need to get deep clean for my teeth. However, I don't want to get deep clean, all I wanted was just a regular clean. The staff told me is not possible for a regular clean it has to be a deep clean where I have to pay $600 out of pocket after insurance coverage! I have never experienced something like this before. I feel I was pushed into something I didn't want to do!!!!

They are losing a Family, because of their employees’ behavior.

I spoke with my friend (Dental Doctor, not live in this state), which ever they are suggesting treatment not required.

I walked out from my appointment! Never in my life I will go back to this place!

Poorly staffed and uncoordinated!! I went in for a X-rays, cleaning and exam. Was there right on time for my appointment. Spent an hour and 30m. And all they got through was an X-ray. Told me they needed an additional 2 hour for the cleaning.

I have been a patient here for the last 2 years. This place has changed the staff many times. which shows instability in the work place. Starting eight months ago, this office was becoming very inconsistent. Couple weeks ago I went in for just regular cleaning which was overdue couple of months. They examined my gums and decided that I needed a deep cleaning which was absolutely unnecessary. I asked them to do just a cleaning because I knew my gums does not get that bad if I had missed a month or two. Anyways, they insisted to do scaling and deep cleaning and that's when I got angry and walked out. The pricing is also absolutely outrageous. They add procedures and fees that are probably not necessary. I gave 2 stars because in the beginning I had good experiences at this dentist, especially with Dr.Chan.

This dentistry people trained to make money from customer out pocket coverage or not covered by insurance.

This week I went again for cleaning now they are trying to charge again $98, now they are saying this treatment I need to take it every time for life long. If they say before about this treatment I will consult some another Doctor (My insurance covered by any number visits to doctor) for 2nd opinion. When they asked about this they are saying we updated this before but never, now they are saying I signed. May be I signed for some other and they never give time review or read all the documentation which they are going to give us. I think everyone also does the same thing about terms and conditions.

They wasted my time and they are not able to treatment for me this week. Now I need choose another doctor. Our family never like to change the Doctor before. We moved from different state to TX last year and trying to catch best Doctor. We stayed/ treatment more than 10 years with our previous dental doctor and one we changed our Insurance to cover from previous dental doctor paying every month $70more.

2nd time went back in Feb this year for regular cleaning they said they need to the Maintenance for last year treatment and they charged for Maintenance $98. I paid from my pocket.

I visited last year and they said they need to do some treatment for my gums and they charged $350 dollars which not covered by our Insurance. I paid from my pocket.
