I arrived and the first thing the guy taking my payment said was " I don't guarantee anything because your car is too dirty" didn't even greet or said hi... very disorganized and have stuff all over the sides... not coming back again.
Really don't understand the bad reviews??? I've driven from Frisco to Plano for the past 2 years just to get my car cleaned here. I have two young boys and the back seats can get really dirty as well as the floors from just running around to sport practices. Carmel does an amazing job on my interior. Every single time!!! Once my son, who was six at the time, put a sticker on the inside window and the employee scraped it off painstakingly by hand. I keep my car very clean but every once in a while something spills in a cup holder. Those types of messes are no problem for this carwash. They do a thorough cleaning inside with the 24$ wash.
I had never used Carmel before and unwisely ignored the previous reviews. I was told when I arrived it would be an hour and a half for the $25 interior and exterior clean so I chose the $15 exterior wash, hand tire and wheel clean and exterior wipe down. Sadly the rinse dried on my vehicle before the car could wiped down. I brought to the attention of the employee and they cleaned up a couple of the areas but they would have had to wet and wipe down the entire vehicle. On top of that issue, the wash left the entire backside of my SUV dirty. Again, I pointed this issue out to the employee and at best they smeared the dirt around. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CARMEL!
In the past this was my go to carwash. The quality of service has steadily declined over time. There are many choices out there, but after the terrible service I received last time this will no longer be one of mine.
I just came back from a roadtrip and my car was coated in dead bugs. I used the 3 minute wash, which in hindsight is only for cars with some dirt. Car looks identical from when it went in. It was only $6 so im not going to waste getting a refund T_T
